16 August: Attention EVERYBODY. Today I got a check in the mail with a note. The note said,
"The enclosed check is a donation for care packages to be sent to me so I can distribute them to all the units that fall under my BDE Deadquarters. As the Chaplain Assistant, this is my responsibility and as such request has been approved by my chain of command. Thank you for all that you do and your continued support. God Bless.

The check was for $50.00 and was sent by SPC Andrea Koeberle. I sent her a note and am sending the check back to her.
NO WAY a Warrior is going to pay for their own care packages to be given to other troops.
I know you will prove that... thanks, marty.

17 August:
"I have been a support junkie since 2005. Some of the troops who have come home still call or write to tell me how much the packages and good wishes meant to them. Without this site, it wouldn't be possible. In a way, I think we are warriors too: We fight off boredom and loneliness. AnySoldier.com is our weapon. Our donations are the ammo! Lets' lock and load!"

Every now and then a unit will fall through the cracks and not get much or anything from supporters. It happens. Just so you know, we enter each and every update by hand, it isn't automatic, so we know right away when something is wrong. We notify TreatAnySoldier.com when a unit was missed and they send them care packages immediatly. This, along with your response, usually corrects this situation real quick.
Not to worry.
